Many yogic practices are similar to those experienced on the surf by bringing about feelings of balance, inner peace and bliss; the combination is now practiced at Surf Tours Nicaragua's 1st Annual Yoga/Surf Retreat. Daily yoga exercises can restore your natural balance and harmony, bringing positive health to all aspects of your life - physical, mental and spiritual.

Maximize your surf trip by isolating moments of satisfaction with a custom tailored yoga instruction/practice package with Surf Tours Nicaragua. Join our on-site instructor, Alice, in Vinyasa yoga for a quick morning/evening sun salute, half session or 2 hour long power yoga session.

Live Baseball Games - $10 per Person

Nicaraguan Baseball Baseball is religion in Nicaragua! Unlike the rest of Central America, soccer takes a back seat to baseball. Due to the incredible climate in Nicaragua, live baseball is played almost year round. Nicaragua hosts four farm teams that are all associated with Major League Baseball clubs in the US or Canada.

Competition is fierce with budding talent in constant circulation throughout the league, and the games are an experience like no other! Afternoon and evening games are regularly played and include alcoholic beverages, so ask about availability and pricing when you are booking your surf tour.

Scuba Diving - Custom Packages

Scuba Diving in Nicaragua Surf Tours Nicaragua offers extended packages that include diving in the Corn Islands, located off of Nicaragua's Caribbean coastline. Diving in the Corn Islands is world class! Human impact on the islands' reefs is extremely minimal due to low population and measures adopted to protect the reef systems. As a result, sea life is abundant and thriving in the Corn Islands. Dives around the island are generally shallow (less than 60 feet), but there are a few deep dives (more than 100 feet) available further offshore.

Nic is a PADI certified Open Water Scuba Instructor, and thus can provide certification courses from Open Water and Advanced Scuba Divers through obtaining your Divemaster certification. Each dive package is custom designed to suit your needs, and depend on your certification level and dive gear requirements, so ask when you are booking your surf tour for pricing and availability.

Cosiguina Peninsula, The Gulf of Fonseca, and The Cliffs at Punta Nata

Cosiguina Volcano Cosiguina Peninsula and the Gulf of Fonseca, which separate Nicaragua from Honduras and El Salvador, are both virtually undiscovered due to poor road conditions and lack of accommodations. The area has some of Nicaragua's best point and reef breaks, many of which are only accessible by boat. Surf Tours Nicaragua offers extended packages that include discovery missions to Cosiguina Peninsula and the Gulf of Fonseca.

Because accommodations are few and far between, you can expect to spend a couple of nights during your discovery mission camping, but you are guaranteed to not see another surfer during the entirety of your tour.

Fishing and hiking opportunities abound in the "far north," so get ready to get in touch with nature, and see a part of Nicaragua that VERY few have yet to see. The Cliffs at Punta Nata tower above the sea 150 meters, and provide breathtaking views of the pacific ocean as it beats itself against the cliffs far below. Ask about the Cosiguina Peninsula, The Cliffs at Punta Nata and the Gulf of Fonseca when you are booking your surf tour for pricing and availability of this option.
