Whoever said tow surfing was cheating probably hasn’t done much of it. If a bi-cept could blow up….our probably would, along with a few other muscles in our bodies. We spent the morning using the new Honda Aquatrax F-12 to tow in at Freight Trains, Salinas Grande and Shifties…it was a blast! We didn’t land any airs, but there were quite a few launched…typically twice as high as the wave was. We did a paddle surf out front at Punta Miramar during the sunset and it was enchanting to say the least. The photographer didn’t notice that behind the house was a double rainbow….some odd offseason rain brought some last light blessings to all in the water. Rita, our new puppy, regaled us with the best shot of the day…the happiest face, trotting up the beach with the golden glow of another day setting behind her. By the way…it’s Deano’s birthday! Our first camp dog has reached his first year and he’s already king of the beach.
