Twas a day of big barrels, burned out shoulders, whistling fins, and only rarely a section to turn on… the west in the swell as well as crossed up swells kept us on our toes (and sometimes on our heads). Frequent double ups were exploding on the sand bars. It wasn’t a day that was high on the ‘perfecto meter’, but there were certainly some perfect barrels. JJ Yemma was the standout and pulled a solid 6 second tube out of his hat amongst a bunch of others. There were several double barrels and it was hollow enough to break a couple of boards. All in all an outstanding day and we wish you were here!
