In the first slide you’ll see the report for today says 3-5 feet….apparently a Hawaiian wrote it because it was a little bit bigger. We normally don’t drive far to get great waves, but with the small swell and a desire to explore we headed to a not so secret beach up north and these are the photos of what we found. The first 5 slides after the weekly forecast report are a sequence…he claimed the barrel which is a little presumptuous we think, but it was a really nice barrel. It was a little heavier than the photos show (as you might note by the last slide where the nose of my board is poking out of the left barrel I’m in, while heading into the maw of a right hand barrel.) There was some perfection to be had and luckily we all made it out without a broken bone, board, or pride. Tomorrow’s forecast is for 5-8 feet, the next day 6-10ft…I think we’ll stick closer to home!
