Boat picked us up at 6 for an adventure down the coast line in search for waves. It was a success and a beautiful ride as we got to see the coast line from a different point of view. When we got back the tide was just right again for Punta Miramar. Tired and hungry we still couldn’t pass up on these waves. Lunch was served and we were already talking about dinner. “FISH!” someone yelled out, so that’s what we had. Drove a quarter of a mile to the fish market where we picked up a 12 pound mackerel caught fresh that morning. At about 2 dollars a pound we couldn’t pass it up. Remember that next time you are buying fresh fish at Whole Foods. We wrapped it up in banana leaves with veggies, garlic and ginger then put it on the grill. Spirits were high was good food was coming out fast. Kayla even made her famous Cracker Cookies for dessert!
