It’s easy to get distracted at the camp by the beautiful waves, frisbee on the beach, cocktail soaked sunsets, and surfing amongst other things. We often enjoy all of this at the cost of missing out on other adventures in Nicaragua, so we made a commitment to get out of the house today. Many of you have enjoyed the Masaya/Laguna Apoyo tour, but this was by far the largest group we’ve ever taken on the road. With two full trucks and 16 people strong, we headed out for Volcan Massaya, the Massaya Artisan market, lunch in Catarina and then an ontoxicating swim in Laguna Apoyo. I don’t think anyone minded the long hours on the road as they were deeply overshadowed by the adventures of the day. As guides, we’ve done this tour many times, but it never loses it’s appeal, especially when the guests appreciate it as much as this one did.
