Transito is like that friend that you can only handle hanging out with sometimes…it’s not that you don’t like the person, it’s just that you can only take ‘so much’ of them. Well we hadn’t been to visit our old friend Transito for some time as the waves have been pretty big…and if there’s one thing Transito doesn’t like, it’s size. So today, we loaded the truck to the gills, lumbered on down the road and we got to surfing…because that’s what we do. Of course the waves were pretty soft, but it was a perfect day and the long boarding was amazingly fun. Most of us did several short sessions between sunbathing and taking in the general beauty of the beach and cove. The local fishermen were using explosives to stun/kill fish and then gathered them as they floated up. Of course the fishermen on the boats were jumping waves as they typically do. We’re back now and it seems, even though it’s small, everyone is pretty surfed out. Hammocks are swinging in the wind and Tonas are sweating more than our brows… Todo Tuani!
