The long anticipated southern hemi has come and gone and we only have sore shoulders to prove it. That and some photos and a lot more video. I’ve been organizing the video and sorting as fast as I can, so there will be some more evidence to come, just bear with me. Friday afternoon things started to pop and because of the world cup, there were only a small handful of us out. Saturday morning was going off by the time mid-tide hit although it wasn’t quite as hollow. By the medium tide through the low on either side, Miramar point was about the best we’ve seen it. I definitely saw the biggest barrel I’ve seen in person in Nicaragua…enough room that you couldn’t touch the ceiling while standing tall with arms extended…pretty impressive for around here. So let me stop rambling and get back to sorting some videos and I’ll get a ‘second installment’ out to you ASAP!
