We’ve been sweating the small stuff this week in an unseasonal flat spell. Needless to say, this is not the norm around here. We haven’t been skunked…we’ve gotten waves every day, but when we’re expecting, and used to, 6-10 foot faces every day, shoulder high isn’t quit the adrenaline boost we’d like (hence the trips to the blue lagoon and the getting stuck in the river;-). As you’ll see from the forecast snapshot…the adrenaline boost is on the way…5 feet at 16 seconds to be exact and we can’t wait. The step up boards are getting cleaned up and re-waxed. Camera’s are on cue and you know we’re looking forward to putting photos and video up as soon as we can get them all downloaded…we just need the waves first!
A big thanks to Matt, Joe, Brad and Miles…they took off this morning and the big joke was they couldn’t leave soon enough because as soon as they were gone the swell was going to show. They were good sports and handled the smaller waves with a big dose of positive energy. They’re already plotting the return… see you guys soon!
