This kid was killing it as you’ll see here in another clip. As if the first clip wasn’t amazing enough you’ll see him get a nice in and out and then pull into a second barrel that probably wasn’t make-able. Then again, if you made it out, you weren’t deep enough!
A nice sleepy morning today…there’s no wind so it’s muggy after a long rain last night. The waves are still pretty pumping and if it wasn’t for the 21 stitches in my face I would be out there. There is nobody in the lineup and I think all the camps are empty right now including us. Typically in October it could be rainy and onshore, but the last week has been offshore until the afternoon and then only light onshore until about 8pm when the offshore kicks in again and cleans it up for the morning.
We’re going to drive over to Sandino to get a look at it once the tide starts pushing. With all the rain and swell it’s possible there’s a wave breaking there…if there is I think I’m going to take these stitches out early!
