What’s up friends? Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and all that!
Some of you know I’ve been home spending time with the family. I left Keith and John in charge and they’re seeing to it that the guests are getting their wave time. It doesn’t look like it’s been all that great, but probably some good longboard sessions at Transito…that’s the old standby when things get really small.
In the mean time I’ve been gorging on all the amazing treats that the holidays bring within reach. Including this 10 lb Prime Rib Roast I got at a local butcher shop called Seisal’s. It’s one of those old school neighborhood butchers where you can get all things carnivor…from Aligator to Rattlesnake and every thing in between. We stuck with some good old Iowa corn fed beef. Not exactly good for the environment or our arteries, but it sure tasted good. We even have left overs for roast beef sandwiches.
I hope you’re scoring waves wherever you are…and if not, you’re at least eating well!
All my best to you and yours…Cheers! See you back in Nicaragua in January.
