Availability, Reservations & Deposit

Surf Tours Nicaragua often sells out in advance, so it is advisable to make your reservations as early as possible. Please confirm Availability before purchasing your flight. Prices do not include airfare.

A deposit of $200 per guest is required to hold your reservation. Reservation Deposit payment can be made via Paypal using all major credit cards or by all other available Paypal options. Just click the “Pay now” button on the “Contact Us” page to make your deposit payment.

Travel & Flight Information

Please book your flights to and from Managua, Nicaragua (airport code MGA). Final booking of your flight is not necessary before making your Reservation Deposit. Upon final booking, please send your flight information and we will pick you up at the airport upon arrival, to get group discounts you must arrive and leave on the same days at similar times. You must bring your valid passport to enter Nicaragua. All guests are responsible for proof of citizenship documents. Note: Your ID must have at least six months remaining before expiration to be valid.

Travel & Flight Information

Managua airport is 1.5 hours from either location. We provide free airport transfers to and from the airport from 6 am till 8:30 pm, if you arrive after 8:30 pm we can arrange a taxi for you for $80. We also ask groups to arrive at the same time or similar times, our group rates are cheaper as they rely on this, so if you cannot arrive at a similar time as the rest of your group and they don’t want to wait for you we can arrange a taxi for you for $60. If you have any questions about arrival times or transport please don’t hesitate to ask us.

Flights leaving earlier than 9:30 am require taxi service for your departure drop off as you will have to leave the camp 4 hours before your flight time to ensure timely arrival at the airport. If you have an early morning flight you can opt for a transfer to Managua a day prior to your flight, book a hotel for the night and then leave from your hotel for the airport in the morning at your discretion.

Free transfers are only included in packages of 3 nights or more, and during the times listed above.

Cancellation Policy

At Surf Tours Nicaragua, we are so committed to providing you with an extraordinary experience that we guarantee the quality of our service. We value the relationship we have with each guest and want it to be mutually rewarding and last a lifetime.

Below are the guidelines if you must cancel your adventure:

We do not offer cash refunds. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving an adventure early. Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to another adventure within one year.

Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies. Surf Tours Nicaragua strongly recommends purchasing Travel Protection Insurance through your travel agent to cover any cancellations, delays, medical bills, loss/damage or theft of property, etc.

If Surf Tours Nicaragua must cancel an adventure, all payments received to date will be refunded, which constitutes full settlement. You may reschedule, with no penalty, to go on another Surf Tours Nicaragua adventure within one calendar year from the date of payment. Surf Tours Nicaragua is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled trips, such as airline tickets, or for costs incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellation or illness.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing full travel insurance to cover you for any cancellations, delays, medical bills, medical evacuation, loss/damage or theft of property etc. If you choose not to get travel insurance Surf Tours Nicaragua will not be liable or responsible for any costs, problems or events that happen before, during or after your stay with Surf Tours Nicaragua. Some credit cards include their own travel insurance with the card itself, so it’s worth checking to see if you’re already covered by your credit card.

Discounts

We offer a 10% discount for all returning guests the first time they return and 20% off for every trip after that, or more if you bring a group, please contact us for more information.

For the “Luxury Package,” the maximum discount we can do is 5%. For the “Best of Both” the maximum discount, we can do is 10%. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers or discounts and usually apply to a standard 6-night package unless otherwise stated. Discounts cannot be applied to packages booked with other sites or brokers, this includes the discount for kids under 16. Special offers and discounts must be mentioned via email at the time of booking.
